One person.
Every detail.
All the time.

Modern family life creates a constant stream of emails, messages, forms, reminders, birthdays, meals and "don't forget" items. Every single one of them lands in one person's head — and stays there.

It's not that you're disorganised. It's that the household has become an information system that still runs entirely through one person's memory. This has a name. It's called the mental load. And it doesn't stop — not when you're tired, not when you're sick, not when you sit down at dinner.

School schedules, excursions, dress-up daysThe ones you find out about the night before.
Medical history, allergies, medicationsFor every member of the family — all in your head.

What's for dinner this weekAnd who won't eat what, and what needs ordering.
Who needs new shoes, a haircut, the next size upThe invisible procurement layer of family life.
The follow-up nobody else remembers to doBecause you're the one who holds everything.

It's not the tasks.
It's what they take.

Mental load does not just consume attention. It steals presence. And that cost is paid in the moments that should matter most.

Presence
Presence
You're there — but not really.

Your body is at dinner. Your mind is managing tomorrow's logistics. You're present in room, absent in mind. And the people around you can feel it.

Relationships
Relationships
Others can't help what they can't see.

The load stays invisible, so responsibility stays uneven. Others want to help — but they can't see what you're carrying. So you carry it alone.

You
You
The load doesn't stop when you need it to.

Not when you're exhausted. Not when you're sick. Not when you genuinely need your mind to be somewhere else. It just keeps running.

What if someone else held it?

"Not another calendar. Not another to-do list. A household intelligence system that knows what you know — so you don't have to hold it alone."

Our competitors organise your mental load. MaestroMum carries it for you.

That's not a small distinction. Organising the load still leaves you holding it. MaestroMum is a household operating system — it stores the context, surfaces what matters, and makes the invisible load visible to everyone in the house, not just you.

Nothing forgotten.

MaestroMum isn't a single tool. It's the operating system that sits underneath all of it — connecting school, family, tasks, medical, sport, and reminders into one coherent household intelligence layer.

Built because the problem is real.

The mental load of family life is one of the most under-acknowledged burdens of modern parenting. It's invisible, relentless, and carried almost entirely by one person — without recognition, without relief, and without end.

We built MaestroMum because we believe the household should be a system that works for everyone in it — not a weight held silently by one.

When the invisible becomes visible, families can finally share the load. And when the load is shared, presence returns.

Have a question we haven't answered?

Is MaestroMum just another calendar app?
No. Calendars track events. MaestroMum carries context — the background knowledge, history, patterns, and invisible decisions that live in one person's head. If you want to add school holidays to a shared calendar, there are a dozen apps for that. MaestroMum solves a fundamentally different problem.
Is my family data private?
Yes — and we take this seriously. Household and family data is among the most sensitive data that exists. Your data is never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used to train AI models. You own it entirely and can delete it at any time. Privacy isn't a checkbox for us — it's a design requirement.
Who is MaestroMum for?
For the person carrying the mental load — the one who knows everything about everyone in the household. That's usually (but not always) mum. If your mind is constantly running the household background programme — if you're the one who knows who needs what, when, and why — this is for you. Partners, dads, and co-parents are part of the system too.
When is it available?
The Mental Load Assessment™ is live now and completely free. Take it at maestromum.com/assessment/assessment — 8 minutes and you'll get your Mental Load Score™ immediately. Early users also receive first access to the full MaestroMum system at founder pricing.
How much does it cost?
The Mental Load Assessment™ is completely free — no credit card, no commitment. Subscription pricing for the full MaestroMum system will be shared with waitlist members first, at a founder rate. We're building this with our early members, not after the fact.
